I’m trying to shoot a lot of film for my personal work because it’s such great practice with slowing down and being more thoughtful with your exposure, making sure to capture just the right moment and not just shooting away on digital and hoping you got something good. I definitely think it helps me grow and improve as a photographer, even when I’m using my digital camera.
I usually shoot with professional grade film but I was interested in what basic film would look like so I grabbed a few rolls of Fuji Superia 400 at Walmart to see what how they would end up. I’m happy with how they turned out. There were some adjustments I had to do since this film comes out quite magenta, but overall it’s not too bad. I still prefer my professional grade film but this is a fun one to have on hand for silly moments at home for a more economical cost. These were developed and scanned at The Find Lab, as usual.

These are beautiful, especially for Superia! Your pup is so cute!!
Superia400 was my gateway drug. I just bought some for vacation! <3 I love anything that is pink on that film. It's just so good! Love those shots of the little one.
