The beautiful L family were so much fun to work with. We did their session on New Years Eve. Mom? Holy cow. She’s stunning. Dad had recently had knee surgery so I was a little worried about him in the sand, but he’d been healing really well and it didn’t seem to be an issue.
Little Mr. A is styling. He plays the guitar and his parents had just bought him an ukulele. I brought my daughter’s ukulele along to see if we could capture some images of him playing it. It was a little big for him but he rolled with it and is just adorable. His sunglasses. I can’t even tell you how cute he is. And his sweet baby sister K is so precious. She slept through the beginning of the session on her grandma while we tried to get a bunch of other images. I really love it when a family is able to trust me and just go with the flow of a session. Everyone is less stressed and we are still able to get the images that we’re going for.
The light was insanely beautiful this evening, which was great. So many sessions lately have been pretty cloudy, which isn’t a session killer, but pretty light makes everything better. Everyone was playing in the surf at the end of the session and a bigger wave came in and they all got pretty wet, which made for some fantastic images. Pure joy and laughter. I could not be more happy with how everything turned out. I hope you can see the love and joy in the amazing L family.
