Had some dreamy sessions recently and I don’t know why I haven’t shared them. Do any other photographers do this? I know in a business sense it’s not great. But especially when I love the photos it’s like I want to hang on to them close to my heart until some time has passed. I’m weird. I know. When families have been through something traumatic and then hire me to take their precious photos, it’s the greatest honor. They trust me and I can’t explain what that means. Thank you, to all my amazing clients.

So obsessed with how this roll that got wet in rain ended up. New plan is to bring an intentionally humidity damaged roll to each session and see what we can get. Doesn’t really work with portraits but love how it looks on other types of shots. ⁣

An oldie but one I loved and never shared. We had a staycation for a couple of nights when my brother’s family was here several years ago and the light there was awesome.

I will always, always, always try to get reflectio

I will always, always, always try to get reflection shots if I can. I’m obsessed with them. And not just in photos but in the everyday moments. I walk around and see them everywhere: the stop signs reflected into a rain-soaked road, puddles my kids jump in. The light with water and how it can change what you see is always magical to me. ⁣
